Hello guys we are glad to inform you that we are faculty of lakshya family. In this post we bring esiest way for you to understand the Ncert Solutions class 10 Maths Chapter 1.2 Vedic Mathametics. If any problem occurs regarding to Ncert Solutions class 10 Maths Chapter 1.2 Vedic Mathametics, you can tell us freely anytime. You can contact us by comments or just fill the contact from of us.

Introduction :-

We studied that during the period of staying in sringeri matha, mysore swami bharti krishna tritha did a hard ascetic fervour for nearly a decade. In the highest position of accomplishment, he got the perceptive vision of mathematics formule discussed in vedas and expressed his ideas in the form of mantras. In this post we study about the method of square and cube of numbers.

IMPORTANCE OF VEDIC MATHEMATICS :-

To get a proper solution of any mathematical problems when a regular and oral practice of vedic mathematical formule is made, the concentration and memory is developed and a sharpness is seemed in his thinking ability and meditation. Due to easy approch , simplicity and agreeability of vedic mathematics , a feeling of curosity in the human heart is develop.

MAIN OPERATIONS IN NCERT SOLUTION CLASS 10 MATHS CHAPTER 1.2 VEDIC MATHEMATICS

1. SQUARE:

In this post we study about problems related SQURE of numbers. Square is a special type of multiplication in which the given number is multiplied by itself, i.e. square of 5 is 5x5=25.
The following method are used in Ncert 10 class
Method 1. Using up-sutra yavadunam- tavadunikritiya vargecha yojayet
Method 2. Using Upsutra anurupyena
Method 3. Using Sutra ekadhikena poorvena
Method 4. Using Dwandwa yog

Method 1. Using up-sutra yavadunam- tavadunikritiya vargecha yojayet :-

Explationation of this sutra is whatever the deficiency, less on by that amount and set up the square of deficiency or difference.
difference = Number - upadhar
This method solve in two part. In first part, Number+ difference and in second part, Square of difference and letter we solve it and find out answer, you can get idea about this by following exampleError Image not Loading

Method 2. Using Upsutra anurupyena :-

The meaning of this sutra is similarity or propotionality. Using this sutra we can find the square of any number (of two digit) easily. In this method following step we use.
i. Make three coulmn for answer.
ii. In first coulmn the squre of digit at the tens place.
iii. In middle coulmn product of the two digit and write this product once again in middle coulmn.
iv. In third coulmn square of digit at the once place. After this steps at last we do sum. You can easily understand by this example-

Method 3. Using Sutra ekadhikena poorvena :-

There are many limitation for using this sutra. This sutra is usable when once digit is 5. This operation is solve in two parts. In the first part we multiply remain number after adding 1 in one number with another same except once digit. In second part multiply 5x5 or once digit. This can be understand by following example-

Method 4. Using Dwandwa yog :-

This method can be used for any number. Actually this sutra is used for Large number, because this is suitable for large number most. By this sutra Urdhva tiryabhyam, the duplex combination process of multiplication of two number is called dwandwa yog. For use this sutra you need to know urdhav-tiryabhyan. Step to use this formula-
Step i. At first we make group of digit
Step ii. Find the dwandwa yog
Step iii. Sum of all dwandwa yog, and find the square.
We can understand this by following example-

2. CUBE:

Cube is a special type of multiplication in which the given number is multiplied by itself Three times, i.e. Cube of 5 is 5x5x5=125. Using vedic method the cube of any number can be find easily and fast.
The following method are used in Ncert 10 class for finding cube of any number.
Method 1. Using up-sutra Nikilam.
Method 2. Using Upsutra anurupyena
Method 3. Using Sutra ekadhikena poorvena

Method 1. Using up-sutra Nikilam :-

This method is also known as Adhara- upadhara. This method devided in three part. In first part (from L.H.S.) sum of Double of difference and number. In second part mltiplication of 3 and square of difference. In third part we write cube of difference. In the second and third part a number comparatively its base digit is written.
Where difference = Number - upadhara
Here we study about this method and understand with following exercise-

Method 2. Using Upsutra anurupyena :-

This sutra can be use for find out cube of any number. Sutra anurupyena means propotionality or similarity. A cube function have four coulmn. According to this sutra is the ratio of number in first and second coulmn is equal to the ratio of numbers in second and third coulmn. The number is in the third and fourth coulmn are also propotional. Following steps used-
Step i. Make four coulmn
Step ii. In first coulmn (from L.H.S.) write cube of tens digit & in fourth coulmn cube of digit at ones place.
Step iii. In second coulmn product of the square of digit at tens place and the digit at ones place.
Step iv. In third coulmn product of the square of digit at ones place and the digit at tens place.
Step v.  In second and third coulmn add the double of product which obtained. At last sum take place in all coulmn and we find cube.
This can easily understand by this example-Error Image not Loading

Method 3. Using Sutra ekadhikena poorvena :-

This sutra can be used to find out cube of any number. This sutra has 4 part. In first part (start from L.H.S.) square of digit at tens place and multiply its more then one. In second part square of digit at tens place and multiply difference. In third part 3 multiply digit at tens place & square of digit at ones place. In fourth part cube of digit at ones place.
Where difference is = unit digit x 3 x 10.
This process can be understand by following exercise- Error Image not Loading
