INTRODUCTION

We studied that during the period of staying in sringeri matha, mysore swami bharti krishna tritha did a hard ascetic fervour for nearly a decade. In the highest position of accomplishment, he got the perceptive vision of mathematics formule discussed in vedas and expressed his ideas in the form of mantras. These mantra were named as sutra vedic mathmatical formule.

IMPORTANCE OF VEDIC MATHEMATICS

To get a proper solution of any mathematical problems when a regular and oral practice of vedic mathematical formule is made, the concentration and memory is developed and a sharpness is seemed in his thinking ability and meditation. Due to easy approch , simplicity and agreeability of vedic mathematics , a feeling of curosity in the human heart is develop.

MAIN OPERATIONS IN NCERT SOLUTION CLASS 10 MATHS CHAPTER 1.1 VEDIC MATHEMATICS

1. ADDITION:

In this post we study about problems related perfect number (i.e. measurement units km-meter), Infact by using the sutra ekadhikena poorvena, all the problems of addition can be solved such problems are - measurement units, Rupees and paisa , decimal fractions real number, distance etc.
To perform the following operation  of addition you must follow the following points of note.
Note 1. In forming coulmn, according to unit of measurement there is certain number in coulmn . 6 paisa will be written as paisa 06 and so others.
consider the following example
i. 45 meter and 67 meter will be written as 045 meter and 067 meter in meter coulmn.
ii. Start addition from top of the coulmn
iii. if addition of any digit exceed 9 (i.e. 10 or may be more) than put a dot on that number row's previous digit.
iv. if the sum of two digit will 10 or more then 10 than put dot on previous digit and unit number of that digit will be add in that coulmn's next digit.
Note 2.  Having completed forming of the coulmn , operation of addition is finished with the help of  sutra.
Note 3. when the addition are related to time whose unit is hour, minute and second than hour, minute and seconds should be taken in different coulmn and base of hour is 10
We shall understand the method with the help of example:

2. SUBTRACTION:

We used two vedic methods to solve the subtractions.
a. The method based on the sutra Ekadhiken Poorvena param Mitram.
b. The method based on the sutra Ekadhiken Poorvena Mitra Ank.
Every problem of subtraction of measure unit or of the real numbers can be solved with the help of second method.
So, we consider again on this method. We know that two digits of a numbers are Param Mitra to each other, if their sum is equal to or more than ten.
The number, from which a number is subtracted is called detachable number and the number which is subtracted is called disjunctor
The method can be more cleared in an easy way with the help of the examples given below.Error Image not Loading

3. MULTIPLICATION:

We used four methods of solving the multiplication in vedic maths

(a). Sutra Ekadhikena poorvena- Here we study about application of Sutra Ekadhikena poorvena in     multiplication. This formula is usable when sum of END digit of both numbers is equal to 10, 100, 1000 or in power of 10 and remaining digits of both numbers have to be same. This can be understand by this example

(b). Sutra Nimkhilam Adhara- This formula is used for multiplication of numbers. Here we study about the use of Sutra Nikhilam in multiplication. By this Sutra multiplication take place in two parts. This formula can be understand by example

(c). Sutra Ekanyunena purvena- From this sutra multiplication of that number can be done if digit of both number is same and  anyone of those number cotain all digits as 9. This can be understand by following example  Error Image not Loading

(d). Sutra Urdhva-tiryagbhyam-
By this formula multiplication of large number also can be done. This Sutra can use for anytype of multiplication. In this formula calculation can be start from Left hand side as well as from Right hand side. We understand this by following example-

4. DIVISION:

Three sutra is used  for division

i. Sutra nikhilam - The Nikhilam Sutra based method  is applied effectively  by only when the digits of divisor are greater than 5 and the complimentary number of division to the respect of the base 10 or the power of 10 is known. In sutra Nikhilam main operation is performed by the complimentary numberError Image not Loading

ii. Sutra paravartya Yojayet- Sutra paravartya Yojayet is more effective when the digit of divisor are smaller then 5 or the difference of divisor comperatly the power of 10 ( not sub-base) or last put digit from left hand side is 1 or can be brought and the base =10. Only Sutra Paravartya Yojayet method out of all these method can be used for division in the algebra.

iii. Sutra Dhvajank - This method can be used for every problem related to division. This method is based on the Sutra Urdhva-tiryagbhyam. In this method the important part is to choose Mukhyank and Dhavajank properly. There may be more than one digits in Mukhyank becase many digits must be put in dividend at the place of ones in the third section as there are in the Dhvajank  and remaining in the middle section. We shall understand this method with the help of following examples:Error Image not Loading
